About Us
Rotary
Components International was by established in 2001 by David C.
Edgar to provide mobile
equipment service and repair. David’s
vision was to meet the needs of his customers by offering
on-location refurbishment and maintenance of all drilling
equipment.
Over the years, RCI acquired a nine-acre facility
and augmented staff to develop experience as well as a global
customer base. With three generations of upper management in the
oilfield industry, Rotary Components International can handle
any size job, from complete rig projects to the repair and
reconditioning of individual items or systems.

David C. Edgar
In
the early 1990s, David C. Edgar entered the energy industry with
Texas National Corporation, where he worked for 10 years. During
this time, David developed expertise in rebuilding various types
of equipment, heavy machinery operations, and rigging-up of
complete drilling systems. One job in particular, the rig-up of
Pride Rig 319, introduced David to the vast amount of detail
that goes into assembling a complete drilling system.
Eventually, David went on to create Rotary Components
International. Through working in less than luxurious
conditions, such as the steaming jungles of Ecuador or in the
frigid Canadian winter, David learned to use logic and
unconventional methods to develop solutions to dilemmas that do
not have a textbook resolutions.
